Did you know that Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean is also Winston from the John Wick Franchise and Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda? I try to tell my family but they ignore me, they don’t remember, or just tell me to talk about something else. So I am going to talk about it now. The actor Ian McShane is known for a lot of roles like Ransom with Sean Connery, and Deadwood with Timothy Oliphant (my dad and my mom promised me they would see it with me one day), and Hot Rod starring Andy Samberg. But none of these roles are as big as his Pirates of the Caribbean, John Wick and Kung Fu Panda roles. He was outstanding. In Pirates of the Caribbean, he played a real-life pirate called Blackbeard. Blackbeard was not a good person/pirate. He was an English pirate but his name was not Blackbeard his name was actually Edward Teach. He was born in Bristol, United Kingdom. He also had a wife called Mary Ormond. Unfortunately his wife died the same year that Blackbeard died in 1718. So little to know about Blackbeard’s early life but the internet says that Blackbeard died around the age of 35 or 40 years old so we predict that he was born around the year 1680. Next is another role of Ian Mcshane’s and it is called John Wick. Winston is portrayed by Ian Mcshane and his character Winston was the owner of the Continental Hotel. John Wick sees him now and then but in the third movie Winston betrayed John Wick he shot at him but he missed and that made John fall down on the roof of the Continental and fall right down on his face on the concrete floor. Next, John Wick goes to the Bowery King. They both will seek revenge on the high table. I think Winston was planning the whole thing and will get revenge on the high table too and when he sees John he will probably tell his plan and John might forgive him. I don’t know I am just predicting. I just found out today that John Wick 4 is getting delayed instead of May 2022 it is going to be on March 2023. Next is Kung Fu Panda. He was terrifying in the movie and one of the main reasons that he played a bad guy. The character used to be good but he wasn’t the Dragon Warrior he trained all his life just for that moment and he wanted the Dragon Scroll. I know he is also in Kung Fu Panda 4. Tai Lung’s martial arts skills are amazing and also is very unique as well. I love Tai Lung and I love his character. Ian McShane always chooses the best roles.
